Our Client:
Our client is a nationally
recognized top 20 mortgage lender. They are headquartered in Los Angeles,
California, with national presence as well as a strategic call center in
Orange County.
The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a senior
executive with a strong Mortgage Lending background. As this
position reports directly to the President and CEO of the company you will
have the opportunity to be a key player in this company’s continued growth
and success.
Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze the technical
needs for all areas of the business through several department managers
in a national environment having overall responsibility for planning,
budgeting, implementing and maintaining costs, quality, methods and
employees.
- Participates with
other senior managers to establish corporate strategic plans and
objectives.
- Analyzes, cost
justifies and recommends IT strategic direction.
- Establishes
information systems objectives and assignments and delegates assignments
to subordinate managers. Analyzes the needs of information systems
departments and establishes priorities.
- Managing information
systems including data networks, data centers, applications, systems,
software engineering and consulting services.
- Frequent interaction
with outside customers, vendors, functional peer groups and company
management.
- Conducts presentations
of technical information concerning specific projects / client
information.
- Negotiates contracts
with vendors.
- IT billing audit
responsibility.
- Monitors cost
effectiveness and recommends upgrading of appropriate systems.
- Develops long range
plans for information systems. Communicates status of IT projects to
other members of senior management.
- Participates in client
evaluation tours.
Position Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of
experience with information systems within the Mortgage Industry
including Mortgage Originations systems, Loan Servicing systems and call
center technologies.

7 + years of senior management experience leading a team
of highly-skilled technical individuals.
- Strong
leadership qualities as well as hands-on management and technical skills
are a must.
- A positive, supportive
attitude that supports teamwork and collaborative efforts during
company’s sales and implementation projects.
- Ability and
willingness to travel to center locations.
- Familiarity with SOX
