Manager, IT Audit

A nationally recognized top 10 Mortgage Lender with national presence.
The
Opportunity:
The IT
Assistant Manager of the Internal Audit Department will be responsible for
directing the daily efforts of the IT audit staff in order to provide an
accurate evaluation of system controls and risks. The IT Assistant Manager
will also ensure that audit personnel follow the Internal Audit Department
Policies and Procedures and all other company policies and procedures.
Essential
Job Functions:
-
Oversee
the daily Department activities, which includes, the monitoring and
supervision of the Information Technology audits (i.e., platform-based
computer security reviews, database management, program change
management, computer operations, and disaster recovery/business
continuity) of the company

Assist the
Audit Manager of the Internal Audit Department in performing annual risk
analysis and audit planning/scheduling

Understand
the Company's Internal Audit Department’s audit methodology as explained
in the manual and help ensure all Internal Audit personnel adhere to the
Guidelines

Assist
with the review of work performed by IT audit staff to ensure Guidelines
are followed and that all findings are supported

Obtain,
organize, and present evidential matter as to the reliability and
adequacy of the Perform on-the-job training and evaluation of audit
staff

Monitor
audit projects to determine they are completed within the scheduled
timeframes and in compliance with the Internal Audit Department
standards

Perform as
the “In-Charge” auditor for medium to high risk audit assignments
